Bryson Finney
Bryson Finney is the Founder and Executive Director of the Community Arts Collective. He also co-founded and directs the We Are Nashville Festival, an annual event in Nashville, TN, that brings together today’s creatives and nurtures the sounds of tomorrow.
Bryson is dedicated to creating arts-based opportunities that inspire and foster a sense of community for everyone. As an author, songwriter, arranger, and educator, he believes that a love for the creative arts can start at a young age. This belief is evident in both his music and the programs he develops.
With a BA in Music Education and an MAEd in Instructional Technology Education, Bryson has spent the past 16 years as a music educator and instructional coach. His contributions to the Nashville community are extensive. He has worked as the Nashville Symphony Accelerando Coordinator, helping students from diverse backgrounds pursue careers in music. In 2020, he served as the Music Technology Content Lead for the CMA Foundation’s Unified Voices for Music Education Initiative. Bryson was also a 2021 Regional Emmy Recipient for his work on the “We Are Nashville” video project with the Nashville Symphony.
His accolades include being named a 2022 Yamaha 40 Under 40 in Music Education, a 2022 Nashville Emerging Leader in Education by the Nashville Chamber of Commerce and Young Professionals Nashville, and a 2022 Nashville Black 40 Under 40 recipient. Most recently, he graduated and won the perfect pitch award in the 2023 Periscope Artist Entrepreneur class with the Nashville Arts and Business Council.
Bryson is passionate about continuing his support for the Nashville community and beyond through his dedicated work in the arts.
